Gentoo packages GRP install

I started performing a Gentoo GRP package install. After only a few steps I have run into a road block as I am unable to find the file "my_installed_packages?" I installed Gentoo using CD1 and have started the package install using CD2 but I cannot find this file on either CD. Thanks in advance Rick

Public Internet across a private network.

I have a private network that I would like to allow internet access from public computers. Do I simply need to subnet the public side to prevent access to the private network?
