Does anyone have elo graphics touch screens drivers and touch screen calibration utility for 2.6 kernels. In particular CentOS 4.3, the comparable to RHEL 4, updates 3. I can make the touch screen work with the elographics X drivers but the right way is to use the package from elo which I have been unable to get from them. It's a kernel level driver and calibration tool. The package would likely be called elotouch-1.1somthiing.rpm based on the little that I know.

Well, have you tried (while connected to your HDTV: ~ # Xorg -configure ~ # X -config /root/xorg.conf.new If it works, copy the settings from the new xorg.conf to your current one. If your running Knoppix or Gentoo, you can always install ddcxinfo-knoppix to find out the HorizSync and VertRefresh. The sources may be available on the Knoppix site, but I run Gentoo so I can just: # emerge ddcxinfo-knoppix

7z compression

Just downloaded a Gentoo based livecd that has XGL running on both gnome and kde.... Unfortunately, I can't seem to extract the iso image with either Ark, File Roller or Karchiver. I installed p7zip and using command line 7za I keep getting unsupported file type errors. I am unfamiliar with 7za and p7zip... Can someone offer info on how to extract this file? file name=RR64-Linux-3.0b1.iso.7z Thanks

Local prices regarding Cat5 runs

How are local companies currently charging for running/terminating Cat5 cables? Is it on average a set price per drop/distance, or an hourly rate? What about customized work, such as any major fishing or such, any extra? I'm assuming materials are never included? Thanks -dave

It is a must read for the budding film maker. Tux even makes an appearance on page 63. Can someone identify the bearded man next to him? I can't quite place him.

The only other 7z that I can think of is 7-zip, there is a command line version for Linux. Not sure why they would use it on a Linux distro iso, but you could try it. I got a source file for KISO in 7z format, but I haven't tried installing it yet. C# Object Relational Mapper

Is anyone using a C# ORM or Code Generator that they feel is pretty decent? I've tried several, and they just don't seem to be up to the task: Nhibernate - a quagmire of too much. MonoRail / Active Record - quagmire as well, with too many 'hacks' needed to get it working. CodeSmith - too complicated. I would prefer something that works with newest version of the .NET framework as well as C# 2.0. I'm beginning to think that perhaps Ruby on Rails / Active Record has spoiled me too much... Josh
