DNS alternatives (Was RoadRunner nonsense)

TW's astandard DNS rollout is despicable and everything, but still: It might be argued that one should no more depend on their ISP for DNS than they would for email. Might I recommend 4.2.2 1 - 4.2.2.6 and/or OpenDNS? I suspect that a forensic audit of the profit/loss results from DNS gaming will show a net loss. The "profits" from all total redirects and similar credit per click are not "free money". There are overheads. There also are consequences of being scummy. All things taken as a whole I find it more likely that at fiscal year end an ISP will be ahead by *NOT* playing such games. Used Systems Wanted

Looking for 2 - 3 used office-grade machines, pre-2ghz DDR400 or less specs. Don't need good audio or video, these will be "servers"; drives and RAM don't matter as I'll be installing my own. I like SFF boxes, but don't like the lack of expansion. If you have a couple last-generation systems kicking around, let me know.

Summary for those not having heard of this yet- CdC has made a seemingly "Back Orfice" level tool for Google's website deep scanning potential I am curious how much is hype and what is real? Yes, technically it's still a winap only , but their source is claimed to be open. Anything that can expose holes is a Very Good Thing.
