I got an email a little while ago from the folks responsible for ITEC, which led me to this page, which shows Exhibitors:
We aren't mentioned yet. Who had contact with them last time? Heard anything yet? Can we get a few hundred Ubuntu CDs again? . . .
I'm working on talking them down from the $2,000 they're asking for a booth.
They may see our booth as unnecessary duplication of one of their conference speakers, and that in turn reduces their potential profits. They are probably thinking "why would an attendee pay more for a conference speaker pass when they can get the same information from KCLUG for free?"
