Ok- we are coming to a consensus of sorts.
MY 2 points are learned from experience.
1: Restrictions on reuse or "conditional donations" tend to
displace good deeds. with bad karma.
2: "Recycle" as shred/melt make new stuff should be the least
desirable use compared to plugging it in at a new job..
DO note that Linux often makes this desirable use more viable!
