Not a problem, OO saves in Word format. I generally send my resumes in PDF exported from OO. That way I know it gets formatted the way I intended and not the way some user has configured his/her office suite.

Isn't that precisely the issue? If I get one page to tell someone about my entire professional career, it better look exactly as I intended it... PDF wasn't in the list.
