Just starting to listen to live radio using RealPlayer 10.0.2.608 w/ SuSE 9.2 (thanks to SuSE for the free 9.2 DVD ISO).
Any recommendations for free Web sites and/or Linux tools for selecting stations and managing addresses for favorites? Have tried saving links to connections under "favorites" with RealPlayer, but I often get error messages indicating a possibly outdated or inaccurate link when I try to return to a saved station ... sometimes I can retrieve a live stream, sometimes not.

http://shoutcast.com is one I like. I'm pretty sure RealPlayer can play streaming MP3 files.

Last time I asked this question all I got back was "Google". I _thought_ I saw an application that was touting itself as a dedicated web radio browser, but I didn't have time for it then and I don't remember what it was now.
Microsoft has it's media indexes - I've never much cared how they did that, but it has to be a form of XML that others could duplicate pretty easily.
