Does anybody have a mail reader set up that does NOT render jason's messages as attached text files? I think there may be one other user who's mail appears that way in KMail (1.7.1 on KDE 3.2.3 on Mandrake 10.1).
There are other digitally signed messages that KMail displays as such, so it's not _just_ digital signing that's causing the problem.

Gmail. His signature shows up as an attachment, but the messages themselves are fine.

I use Eudora. Looks okay, the digital signing shows up as an attachment.
