Hmmph! Well, I'll be damned! All these years I thought it was an Altair. Well, learn something new every day. Check out those hardware specs! Awesome Dude! http://www.smecc.org/imsai.htm The IMSAI 8080 used an Intel 8080A processor, and came as a base unit with 4K RAM. I/O was through front panel switches and LED's, without additional peripherals. It was once the fastest selling microcomputer. What would make double NAT fail? fyi: works in my home just fine though two Linux iptables setups for something I was playing with. Then again NAT on Linux may be better than that in a hardware firewall? Hmmm what's the association with the MTU setting? And just where is this set in the dsl modem and in windows? "just works" with Linux... too bad this system isn't fully under my control to do "right". How do you find the "right" MTU setting?

A friend of mine who worked for AT&T had one of those! First time I got to see Unix as my father didn't get to buy everything he wanted. He worked for IBM and won a suggestion award that paid for a Furnace, air conditioner and his XT with a 10mb hard drive. He said he wanted a second hard drive (for Minux) and a cga moniter. How much farther ahead would I be if I'd picked up on more Unix and Minux, rather than toying with the speech synthesis! Now you must realize, I did nothing special in creating this document. Everything was using the defaults of OO.
