Vista seems to emulate some fantasy realm's evil miasmiic demons radiating sheer wrongness.
Stretching the metaphor but doing it properly, M$ is the evil demon on the Nether Plane, while Vista is merely M$'s physical form in the MMORPG.
I normally do not find myself amazed by new lows in frankly craptastic actions. THIS:

Seems tailor made to help Linux and the Open Source world?
Especially this part (regarding UNIX/Linux), if SUA does what I think it does:
"Windows Vista Enterprise includes features or licensing attributes not available with other versions of the operating system. Those features are: ... SUA (Subsystem for Unix Applications)".

If you let me know where to come pick them up, I'd be happy to come take up to 10 of them off their hands. Should I contact Jeanne Malloy directly?
400Mhz still works for quite a lot of computer needs, as my 300Mhz laptop still does many things fairly well. I know a number of low-income folks still struggling along at 100Mhz who would be happy for a quadruple increase in processor speed.

I done some research and have found a few Linux printers, but the reviews were lacking for content. So kicking it out, does anybody have a printer they would recommend? It is for home use light use with, and the occasional bouts of moderate use. I try to stay away from HP
May I ask why you stay away from HP? HP supports Linux with most of its printers, especially low-end printers, so "staying away from HP" is going to dramatically shorten your list of Linux-supported printers.
One thing I really like about HP is that the print heads are on the ink cartridges and thus replaced every time you change an ink cartridge.
